Network Solutions builds data center and offers ASP
services to clients from Akron, Ohio.
AKRON, OHIO – August
7, 2002 – Advanced Network Solutions,
Inc. (ANS), who has been a provider of remote solutions
for the past ten years, has formally started their ASP
(Application Service Provider)service with the opening
of their new data center in Akron. The new data center
features redundant server platforms, UPS and Generator
power backup, Disk array and tape backup, sophisticated
security and robust monitoring capabilities.
Through its ASP offering, Advanced Network Solutions
provides customers their own virtual data center to
operate specific core business software applications
or all of its applications. The customer can access
their applications securely over the pubic Internet
securely or through the private Fidelity Access Network.
The customer only needs a standard web browser to gain
access to a custom tailored menu with their applications.
All management, software updates, licensing and help
desk is provided by ANS professional staff.

of managing security, virus and hacker attacks, licensing,

customers to outsource specific applications or all
of their applications to our redundant data center.
This can provide a good mix of efficient deployment
and management of company resources. Companies that
are multi-location or are opening new locations can
now startup new users by giving them an Internet connection,
ID and password. Users simply logon to access their
applications. In addition, our service can utilize almost
any client and operating system. Customers can now get
longer usage cycles from existing equipment. When replacements
are needed, they can utilize a thin client terminal
at 40 to 50 percent of the cost.
